From surface many pieces of pottery were visable throughout layer, few shells visable in SE side, stone
round edge visible. High concentration of shell deposit in SE corner slowly becoming frequent within
layer. Small ashy deposit from 3059 in NW corner. Sigillata plate and other large ceramics found at
bottom of layer including lamp. More concentrated ceramics in centre retained heavy fraction because of
high frequency of shells.
