DESCRIPTION

Soil is slightly compact but primarily loose throughout. The colour is brown and does not change. The
composition is uniform with about 10% pebbles throughout and many inclusions in the soil. A high
frequency of ceramics is distributed evenly throughout the unit. Faunal remains including shells are
frequent also. Charcoal is medium frequency, primarily located in a large piece in the western limit of the
trench. Metals are found at a rare frequency in the western limit as well. The thickens and interface of the
unit were sharp and about 60cm deep. Loom weights are a common find (3).
